Wedding Rings

Clients who are already engaged and planning for their wedding. It’s a good idea to get started on wedding rings at least 3 months out before the wedding date. We’ll go through design and sample rings (especially helpful for the guys)

What you get with me is a personal service in a relaxed environment, but most importantly wedding rings that are custom made to suit you. No sales pitch with pushy sales staff, just ideas and advice to help you with your wedding ring journey. If there is an engagement ring that you want it to match with, I’ll talk you through the gemstones and option whether it be diamonds or coloured gemstones.

Wedding rings traditionally are worn on the left hand ring finger (one over from the pinky!)

It’s good planning to get started on wedding rings at least 3 months out before the wedding date. That way you’ll have time to go over designs and costs. As we all know planning weddings requires budgeting and you want to get a grip on costs with plenty of time to spare before the big day.

The best place to have a chat about your wedding rings is in person, that way we can measure finger sizes, look at sample wedding rings to get a good idea of widths, thicknesses and style. My studio is located Gavin Fisher Jewellery

People in a serious relationship are looking to take that next step and when it comes to symbolising the life event in an engagement ring, wanting something that is not off the shelf, but is customised to the love of their life with the utmost care, craftsmanship and thought going into the ring.

What do people spend on an engagement ring? How long is a piece of string? But seriously people’s budgets vary wildly from $5,000 to $50,000. No matter what budget you are comfortable with, I’ll work with you to keep to that budget, give advice and take everything into consideration to design an engagement ring that suits.

What stones do people use on engagement rings? Traditionally diamonds, but more and more people are opting for a coloured gemstone as a main stone for their engagement ring.

This is not a last minute thing. If you have a date in mind to pop the question, give yourself plenty of time, at least 2 months beforehand to start this process. This should be a fun and exciting time, a huge moment in your life. Let’s keep it a relaxed and comfortable experience as well.

In person is always best, this way we can look over and compare different gemstones in the flesh in my Sydney CBD studio. But,if you are not able to make it in, I do work with many people interstate and abroad via video links. You’ll also be able to learn a great deal and get to know the person who will ultimately make your ring and design together!

Stones and metal are almost always sourced locally from ethically mined gemstones and recycled metals. I find it extremely important to know what is in the metal and alloys that are used to produce the best possible product sourced only from trusted suppliers.

I’m different from other jewellers because I focus purely on custom pieces, I have over 25 years of experience from around the world. I listen to you and I take what loose ideas are in your mind and turn them into a design that we can tweak and then the solid tangible piece of jewellery. My focus is on creating jewellery that is made with super high standards that will last.
